I am trying to put together a set of illusions to use as illustrations during a speech I plan to give (at some undetermined point in the future). So, my question is:

Is there a way I can 1) hold a small sphere in my hand (about the size of a cue ball in Billiards), 2) change the appearance of said sphere as I rotate it? For example, if I wanted to show the audience a perfectly white sphere, and then rotate the sphere while changing it to a perfectly /black/ sphere, is there a way this can be accomplished? If so, where might I look for information or equipment to do this?
