Neil Alexander has been a full-time
performing magician since the 80's. After earning a degree in theatre arts
in the late 70's Alexander began to develop the magic act that was to
become his mainstay.
In 1980 he moved from his native New York City to California where he worked variously as a clown, juggler, mime, fire-eater, and escape artist; and further polished his craft and presentation doing street performances in San Francisco's world famous Fisherman's Wharf. By the mid-80's Alexander was taking his solo magic show on the road to comedy clubs all over the United States. Regularly appearing over the next decade in nightclubs from coast to coast, including frequent shows at colleges and fairs, Alexander has also recently performed in such exotic spots as Mazatlan, Mexico; and from Guam in the Pacific to the Cayman Islands in the Atlantic carribean. In the early 90s, Alexander moved back to NYC and developed a full stage illusion show. Building on some of his old nightclub material, and adding several large Las Vegas style grand illusions, live doves, dance and martial arts Alexander has created a unique stage extravanganza.
