| Ahoy there mateys! Captain Daisy of the Good Ship Doodle starts off by painting the kids as pirates, with eye patches, mustaches, scars. The recruits then take the Pirate's Oath, and receive ship and sea training, like | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| how to hoist the sails, load the cannons, etc. Next is Pirate Boot Camp, because a pirate must be in shape! Simple calisthenics, like jumping jacks, toe touches, etc. The pirates all get balloon swords and sword belts, so they are ready for the Treasure Hunt. The clues are a series of activities which eventually lead them to the booty (goodie bags). This show is very action oriented and burns up a lot of energy. It's great for kids who love to playact and use their imagination, especially boys ages 4 to 6. See Facepainting page for close up pirates. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Super Duper Daisy swoops into the room with her cape. First, she facepaints the kids as superheroes (like Superman, Wonder woman, Spiderman). The Super Hero Action Party begins with super hero boot camp, consisting of easy calisthenics and aerobics. Then super hero training moves, like karate chops, kicks, ducks, rolls, etc. We can also do a variety of fun relay races, games and contests, depending on the ages of the kids and amount of space, like hopping with a balloon between your knees, balancing eggs on spoons, hopping on 1 leg, pass the pretzel, rocket ship balloons, etc. Swords and swordbelts are supplied to all our superheroes, to battle against evil and injustice! A superhero magic show is available too, instead of the super hero activities. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Good ol' fashioned fun! All kinds of games, ranging from the athletic to the cerebral. On the physical side, games can include riotous relays like tug-of-war, sack races, 3-legged races, and hilarious contests, like hopping with a balloon between your legs, balancing eggs on spoons, passing the pretzel, the silly hat derby, etc. Mentally stimulating games include the memory game, telephone, charades, etc. Can include fun group dancing like the limbo, conga line, chicken dance. Or maybe some really cool balloons, i.e. rocket ship balloons that fly across the room, space saucer balloons that spin and you try to balance on your finger, or water-filled yo-yo balloons. Kids are warmed up before the games with stretching, aerobics and easy calisthenics. Great for older kids. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Barbie enters your child's party to the Barbie song and dances with the birthday girl. Then she facepaints the girls with sparkly makeup and glittery face paint. Boys can be whatever they like. Then Barbie teaches the kids how to pose and walk like a model, followed by a fashion show, with the children modeling their outfits (great photo oppt!) Other options include dancing to Barbie's great dance compilation with popular group dances like the Limbo, Macarena, YMCA, etc (See Dance Parties page). Or a Barbie Magic Show, with lots of audience participation, comedy and costumes. Or fun games, like "duck duck Barbie" or "Barbie says." The finale of the party is balloon sculptures, including a big special balloon hat for the birthday child. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Daisy Doodle dresses up as Velma for our Scooby Doo Magical Mystery Party. The kids at the party must help solve the mystery. First, they are sworn in as detectives and fingerprinted. Then we explore their investigative skills with games that test their visual memory (a picture board they get 30 seconds to look at, then write down what they remember), sound cues, etc. Next is a mystery magic show, where clues lead to the next magic trick, which leads to the next clue, until the mystery is solved. Ages 5 and up. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Daisy Doodle designed a Yu-gi-oh! party by special request. The kids were facepainted with red or black face masks or designs to divide them into 2 teams. The children then embarked on a series of contests, which earned them points, like in the show. Contests included a pretzel-passing contest (picture above), ball toss, rocket ship balloons and space saucer balloons. The team that acquired the most points was master of the universe, and got a special prize. The other team gets a prize for good sportsmanship. Balloons can follow. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
